Location Description: Shaver Road just north of Oakland Road in Portage, Michigan.
Sighting Description:
While I was driving a cougar crossed the road directly in front of me. As it crossed I took notice of the sleek way that it moved, how long and tall it was, and the long thick tail that it had. I knew right away that it must be a cougar because it was too large to be anything else, and it moved so gracefully. Even though it was dark I am positive that it was a cougar.
