Location Description: wooded both sides of the road
Sighting Description:
On Monday October 5,2009 we had just crossed over from Drummond Island on the 5:10 AM ferry. We were traveling west on M134 to pick up Interstate 75 back to Ohio. I had my brights on concerned with deer crossing. About 5 miles down the road from the ferry a large tan cat bounded across the road. My wife, excitedly ,did you see that? What in the world was that? Did you see his tail? My answer to all the above-it was a Cougar.
