Location Description: 2 miles north of Morsetown on state land along a two track.
Sighting Description:
Stopped in an open area surrounded by woods to walk to tree stand. Opened passenger door and looked down trial. First thought it was a doe. I quickly asked my fried to look past me approx 75 yds. It rose up on his front legs and stared. At lease 15 to 20 sec. When he turned to run it was his tail that confirmed that the animal was a cougar.
