Lake County Michigan Cougar Sighting.

Location Description: Canterbury Park Drive, 300 yards inside the pavement off of Star Lake Drive
Sighting Description:
"I saw a feline cross the road 100 yds ahead. When I passed where it went in the woods, I stopped. I had my sunroof open, so I stood up looking out of the SUV and saw the cat about 30 yards in. It let me watch him/her for about 10 minutes! She groomed herself like my house cat and was generally very comfortable, until three cars whipped past me and scared her away. Solid brown body, with black and white ears, and a black tipped tail. About 18" at the shoulder, not very large from what I gather. With tail, I estimate it was about 4 feet long."
